The photo at left of Bill Carl, and his grandson Brandon, was taken on the USS Bunker Hill on a cruise from Naval Station Everett to Seattle for Sea Fair. Brandon is a Sea Cadet, and Bill is busting his buttons with pride. Of course Bill aslo wanted to show off his Ready Eddie cap during the cruise.
The second image is of Brandon and Rear Admiral Horton Smith. Brandon was 15 at the time and R. Adm. Smith was close to 80. Bill enjoys spending a lot of time with 6 of his 8 grandkids who live in the Seattle area. |
