Lieutenant Commander James P. Kelly was Chief Engineer onboard EDWARDS from October 1975 until August 1977. Mr. Kelly was originally scheduled to leave EDWARDS during the first part of the cruise, however, he had the extreme pleasure of working many weeks with the Ship Repair Facility at Subic Bay, Republic of the Philippines.
     LCDR Kelly is currently the Operations Officer on USS VANCOUVER (LPD-2).
